Vlog

So after nearly six plus years of exclusively writing content for my website, I made my first video! Yikes!

This is kind of my worst nightmare. Even though I earned 99 community college credits, which is more than enough for an Associate's degree, I never got my AA because I wouldn't take public speaking. Ha!

I'm a way better communicator in writing than in person. But I realize that a huge portion of my potential people I could help prefer watching videos rather than reading. I want to reach as many people as I can so it's time to suck it up!

I know it will get easier the more I do it. I will make videos when I'm inspired. I'll try to keep them short and to the point. If you're anything like me you don't have the attention span to watch anything longer than 5 minutes or so.

I'm just dipping my toe in the water. This is really outside my comfort zone. Not to mention I don't know what the fuck I'm doing!

So here goes nothing!

<cringe>

Just Start Somewhere

I was inspired to make this first video after getting woken up by a neighbor leaving for work at 4:30am. I was annoyed but I couldn't be mad. Do you really think he wants to be leaving the house at 4:30am? Nope. So, what would he rather be doing I wondered? What would everyone rather be doing? Why aren't they doing it?

My thoughts on being "Self-Partnered"

I was inspired to make this video after Hermione actress Emma Watson's interview with British Vogue went viral because she identified herself as being "self-partnered". The term quickly became a trending topic across the internet. Here, I share my thoughts on the conversation.

My encounter with an Earth Angel

I had the urge to go to a beach that I never go to. While I was there, a woman had the urge to come and talk to me. She ended up telling me everything that I needed to hear. I was blown away by this chance encounter. It was truly touching. Don't ignore those little nudges from the Universe!

How to Get the Perfect Beach Body

It's not what you think!

I was inspired to make this video after watching a very vulnerable video from a guy talking about the shame he felt for regaining a lot of the weight he had worked so hard to lose. He realized that he was now hiding from life. I could relate. Since I live in Hawaii, where it's swimsuit season 365 days a year I thought I could offer some advice.

Pick a Card!

I pull Oracle Cards for myself almost everyday. I thought I should start pulling some for you!

Life Tip: Don't be a Karen

Trying to clear my thoughts walking on the beach. After an intense weekend I am still processing a bizarre encounter with a lady at a protest and how we can all just be better.

Indigo Revolution is out now.
